Important Dates for TIFF 2009

With less than 18 days remaining until TIFF 2009 officially begins, fans are beginning to choose their films and prepare for the ticket order process. As a new or returning festival-goer, here are a few important dates to keep in mind:

August 25, 10am
• Programme Book available at Main Festival Public Box Office at Nathan Phillips Square at 10am
• Full schedule available online at tiff.net and TIFFReviews.com (later in the day)
• Main Festival Public Office begins accepting advance orders

August 27, 10am
• Premium ticket advance sales for donors begin

August 31 by 1pm
• Deadline to drop off completed Advance Order forms for processing at Main Festival Public Box Office by 1pm

September 3, 7am
• Advance Order tickets can be picked up or exchanged made starting at 7am at Main Festival Public Box Office

September 4, 7am
• Additional Festival Public Box Offices open at 7am
• Single tickets on sale

September 10
• TIFF 2009 begins!

When the full schedule is available on Aug 25, you will be able to schedule your film screenings on TIFFReviews.com using Google Calendar, Microsoft Office and iCal. Also, if you are unfamiliar with ticket ordering at TIFF, we recommend you visit Richard’s TIFF Talk website, which contains excellent tips and info (with a cool flowchart) on how to buy tickets.
