Box 20 was drawn and this poor fool is in box 19, so I'll be watching closely as folks report their orders as being processed.

Please reply to this thread after your order has been processed with what box # is was in and what screenings you didn't receive tickets for and I'll keep this post updated. They'll be processing donor boxes first, so it's probably reasonable to expect the first offsale screenings to start showing up on Wednesday during the day.

So far, so good.

Looks like I was only able to edit my initial post for an hour or so after I initially posted it, so I can't keep it up to date. If tiffreviews wants to take over keeping it updated (or start a new thread), that would be cool. Otherwise we can just keep this thread alive with new posts.

Edit: Up to donor box 6 (according to Twitter).

That doesn't bode well for second showing of Drive, which is also at Lightbox 1 like for A Dangerous Method.

True, but it's at the same time as that screening of We Need To Talk About Kevin, so if folks didn't make backup picks, it could be alright.

Morning screenings tend to become unavailable faster. There are fewer of them and the more hardcore TIFF-goers are more likely to select them in the advance selection process. There seem to be a few more of them this year, but many will probably still become unavailable pretty quick.

Up to donor box 7. Someone is reporting that a screening of Le Havre has become unavailable, but I'm not sure which one.

Hi all - I'm the one from Donor Box 6 who missed out on the second screenings of We Need to Talk About Kevin and A Dangerous Method. I was sort of expecting Kevin to fill up fast, but I'm surprised about A Dangerous Method.

Just FYI, I had Drive as a back-up for the Kevin slot and I got that instead. Voucher for the other missed pick.

I got all the other films on my list, including those with only one regular screening - Melancholia, Ides of March, W.E., Coriolanus, Hysteria, Page Eight, etc.

I'm donor box 7 - I didn't get Headhunters, Sunday night screening (the 11th). I think this is a mistake? Seems like a weird one to be off sale already.

Well this really ticks me off. First of all, last year I got my email Monday night at 7:42 PM. IN 2009 it was 8:44 PM. So I'm sitting here waiting. Since I became a donor I have gotten ALL my first choices. I pay $150 for out-of-town on top of the $300, plus the 30-pack. It was almost $1000 with fees etc. And now you're all saying that even 2nd screenings were gone by Donor Box 6? That's CRAZY. And my #1 choice of the entire festival was the 2nd screening of Kevin.

I am NOT happy with what I'm hearing.

@ggom1 When did you drop off your order?
And the Headhunters screening is at AMC 4 which only seats 123 people.

I'm in Box 14 of the Public Draw, so I feel your pain OP. I'd expect the next couple to sell out will be The Artist and The Ides of March as they only have 2 screenings and they're heavily hyped films. I'm expecting 2nd choices and voucher.

Dropped off lunchtime yesterday - donor box 7, subsection 22. So I'm one of the first being processed in D7. It's the 2nd Headhunters screening, so I'm pretty surprised even though the theatre is small.

I can confirm that I was still able to get 1x Drive, 2x The Artist (Elgin). I think those are the more popular choices I had. Oh and 1x Into the Abyss first screening.

Are the donor boxes also subject to a draw? Or do they just start with Box 1?

Okay, I just got my email. The only one I didn't get was that 2nd Kevin screening.

I have no idea what box I was in but they received it Friday afternoon.

@larry411, I'm 99.9% sure they started the Donor Boxes at Box 20, like the Regular Draw

Yep, still subject to a draw. Not sure about the ultra-high contributor boxes, but in D7 we were subsectioned at the same time as the regular boxes. So the box 20 draw affected how they processed us too.

I think D7 is your membership level: 1=Leadership, 2=Platinum, 3=Gold, 4=Silver, 5=Bronze, 6=Principal, 7=Castmember. Then each membership level is separated into 33 sections (or other boxes) running parallel with the regular orders for purposes of the lottery. So it goes D1 box 20 first until D7 box 19 and then regular box 20-33 and finally 1-19.

Yes, D7 is for sure the membership level. Lol just wasn't sure if D1 people were subjected to the same draw at the rest of us. I'm still hoping Headhunters is a mistake. I've had mistakes each time I bought a 10-pack...

Okay, gotcha. Well I'm D7 but I don't know what box I was in. Just seems odd those went so soon. If you look at the donor lists there really aren't that many, and not all of them even buy the same ticket packages, let alone request the same screenings. Even at D7 level there are hundreds, not thousands.

I'm willing to bet half the house is reserved for industry.

Yeah, I'm just clarifying because on Twitter everyone is only saying donor box 6 or 7 when that is likely your membership level and not the actual "box" you're in. If you're a member, you probably didn't look to see what box the regular orders were on when submitting. So it is best to go by time you dropped off the order. Box 20 was Monday Morning I think. larry411 says his was received Friday afternoon so it sounds like they're almost done the D7 orders and regular orders should be processed soon.

I dropped off my Contributor-level (D7) order just as the box office was closing on Thursday night, and they told me I was in Donor Box #6...if that helps anyone.

i was in donor box 18, which will be one of the last donor ones processed. i'll post as soon as i get my email. between myself and a friend of mine, we've ordered 100 tickets and between the two of us should have a good indication of what's sold out.

I dropped my Castmember selections off Sunday morning at 10am. Didn't get the box number. No email yet. I'm a little concerned.

I think they weren't telling all the donors about the subsections because no one mentioned it to my friend when she dropped hers off, but the person mentioned it to me when I dropped off the next day. So a lot of donors may not know their exact spots.

I don't like this :( Between the premium screenings and donor boxes, it's not as fun anymore.

Well if mine was received Friday afternoon, and Thursday night was Box 6 per dianad, then I suppose I was in Box 8-10-ish? So they should be up to maybe 15 or so.

you should be coming up anytime now... i was in 18 and dropped sunday 4pm, so you're probably 15-18 someplace and they would be at about 8-10 now given that they were at 6-7 earlier.
